"I have had a wonderful 30-year career working with public school districts throughout the country. After 9 years of classroom teaching, I worked for 20 years as a central office administrator (including being an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology) in a mid-sized school district in Northeast Texas. I have extensive experience writing, managing, budgeting, and evaluating grants from a variety of educational funding sources, including federal, state, and private foundation grants; and I am available for consultation on most all educational issues. I have vast knowledge of No Child Left Behind and the requirements of this statute, such as using research-based strategies in schools to address student equity issues. Since I retired from the public school system, I have been exclusively writing grants and providing training for the Grant Experts. There is nothing more gratifying than to support educators in their quest to raise achievement and to see that the grants I write (and help educators write) are truly making a difference in the lives of children."

"My passion in life is working with educators. Since 2003, 100% of my time and energy have been dedicated towards this passion. I have had the opportunity to provide formal training and coaching to hundreds of schools throughout the country on the topics of classroom management, cooperative learning, literacy strategies, state assessment preparation, effective parent and teacher communication models, first days of schools, creating living literacy centers, and many other subjects across the curriculum. I am a certified teacher who has a strong background in education, which includes a Masters Degree in School Administration from Trinity University and a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas. Before dedicating my career to supporting teachers through training, I spent many years working as a kindergarten teacher and elementary school teacher. I bring all of the challenges and experiences from my years in the classroom into a down-to-earth dialogue as I support teachers in their quest to raise student achievement."
"I was new to the field of education when I attended the fitness and music in the classroom training. I was having trouble with student discipline and I have to admit, I was on the verge of quitting the profession all together. Attending this training completely changed my perspective. I was so excited to get back into my classroom and actually start using the concepts from the training. What I learned drastically changed the way I interact with children and the way I teach. Thank you, so much."
"After completing the grant writer mentoring training, my Grant Expert Mentor helped me write a $1.5 million grant that was awarded four months later. I was promoted as the Program Director of that grant and received a 20% salary increase. I guess my investment in that training resulted in a pretty good return on investment."
"I attended the Grant Writer S.O.S. Training when it was offered in Farmington several years ago. I felt 100% equipped to begin writing grants for my private school after the training was over and I am happy to report that I have obtained over $750,000 in state and foundation grants since the training. This is pretty impressive due to the fact that I was a complete novice to grant writing before the training."
"Is attending this training worth the time and money? My answer is an astounding: YES!"
